Reconstruct is using Oracle technology to digitize the construction industry through the use of its cloud-based platform. The platform uses Oracle Cloud and Oracle’s Primavera P6 to track construction progress with images from drones.
How It Works The browser-based platform integrates point cloud, BIM and scheduling to give users an accurate portrait of building sites across time.It uses scheduling data to allow users to “time travel,” looking at both the BIM and point cloud layers at different stages of a project. Users can upload project schedules directly from Oracle Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project management software. The platform translates written schedules into visual information, so users can see which aspects of a build site should be completed by a certain time According to Reconstruct CEO Zak MacRunnels, “Oracle Cloud Services renders all of our 3D imaging, which is the backbone of what we provide. At Reconstruct we bring Primavera 6 to life in three dimension. We also run our 3D rendering system on Oracle Cloud services. What this does is provide a 3D timeline for construction executives and their job site teams to really create construction safer and faster to make our world a better place.” Sign Up for a Training With the completion of the Primavera P6 training course, you can be on your way to becoming an expert in the platform that is helping change the construction industry.
